End User License Agreement — Robin Control Lite
Robin Control Lite — Version 2.0.0 · Conduit DSP LLC · Effective date: September 22, 2026
These terms accompany version 2.0.0. Earlier distributions retain their accompanying terms.
This Agreement is between you ("You") and Conduit DSP LLC ("Conduit DSP," "we," "us"), a New York limited liability company. By installing or using Robin Control Lite (the "Software") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install the Software.
1. License Grant
The Software is provided free of charge. We grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to install and use Robin Control Lite on any number of computers you own or control, for personal or commercial music production. You may make backup copies for your own use. Version 2.0.0 requires a free Moonbase product license and activation; the current limit is 10 activated devices per license. Installation on additional computers does not itself activate them. Online-activated licenses allow up to 90 days without successful online validation, subject to the signed license expiry or revocation. A separate permanent offline activation flow is available.
You may redistribute the original, unmodified installer to others provided it is distributed free of charge and includes this Agreement.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or charge any fee for the Software itself.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this restriction;
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software;
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the Software;
- Use the Software in any application where its failure could reasonably be expected to lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage.
3. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Conduit DSP retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights. All rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement are reserved by Conduit DSP. © 2026 Conduit DSP LLC. All rights reserved.
4. Third-Party Trademarks
VST is a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, registered in Europe and other countries. Audio Units (AU) is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Any use of these marks is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.
The Software is built using the JUCE framework (© Raw Material Software Limited).
5. No Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Conduit DSP does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with any specific hardware, operating system, or host application.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CONDUIT DSP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF CONDUIT DSP HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. CONDUIT DSP'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED FIVE U.S. DOLLARS ($5.00).
7. Privacy
Version 2.0.0 uses Moonbase for license activation, validation and deactivation. This flow processes license/account information, a device identifier and label, and network/software-version information. The Software stores a signed license locally, including the name and email supplied by Moonbase. Optional SDK analytics are disabled; the plugin does not upload audio samples, presets or DAW projects. Permanent offline activation exchanges request/response files using another connected device. 8. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession. Sections 3, 5, 6, and 9 survive termination.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ulster County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Conduit DSP regarding the Software and supersedes any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
