Robin Control Lite
Take control of your sample randomization, no strings attached.
Robin Control Lite is a one voice sampler with a simple purpose: to add dynamic randomization and variation to your samples.
Once you upload your, up to twenty, samples in the pool, you can reorder, delete, replace and audion them and select playback their playback in series or random. From there you can set the volume, pitch, tone and start/end (all of which have positive and negative randomization amounts).
If you're looking for immediate variation of your footsteps, hi-hats or whatever, we've made a master "Algorithm Knob" that will generate randomness for a select set of parameters. Random sample manipulation has never been easier!
Description:
- Dead Simple UX/UI: All samples are spread through all white keys and parameters are designed to intuitively interact with
- True Monophonic Round Robin Playback: Samples cycle intelligently in series or random order so no two hits ever sound identical — essential for natural-sounding SFX and percussion
- Asymmetric Randomization Engine: Every knob has independent upper and lower randomization bounds, letting you dial in controlled chaos — slightly off-pitch hits, unpredictable dynamics, and subtle EQ drift all at once
- Global Pitch Control with Per-Hit Randomization: Semitone and Fine Tune knobs with randomizable ranges give you both macro transposition and micro-pitch variation on every single trigger
- 2-Band Tone EQ with Randomizable Frequency: High and low shelf eq to shape your tone instantly
- Drag-and-Drop Sample Manager: Reorder, audition, replace, and delete samples directly in the plugin panel without touching your DAW browser
- Sample Start/End Trimming: Percentage-based start and end points with built-in micro-fades — trim room noise and tails directly inside the plugin, no external editor needed
- Lightweight & Zero-Latency: Monophonic voice architecture with minimal CPU overhead — load dozens of instances in a large game audio session without breaking a sweat.
- Built for Game Audio & Post Production: Designed, but not limited to, one-shot SFX workflows — footsteps, impacts, foley, UI sounds — not repurposed from a general-purpose sampler.
